Sowing method

Sowing Time: June-July, September-October and January-February for Kharif, Rabbi & Summer Seasons respectively ( In India)
Soil :Light to medium heavy soil with good drainage..
Seed Rate: 250-300 gm/ha
Spacing : 1 to 1.5 ft. x 1.5 to2.5 ft.
Fertilizer Dose : Apply 15-20 Tons FYM in I ha at the time of land plugging .At the time of final land preparation apply 40 kg. N: 40 kg . P2O5: 40 kg. k20/ha and make light ridges. Then 20 days after transplanting. Again 30 kg. N/ha: 40kg. P2O5: 40 kg. k20/ha should be applied .After first fruit picking apply final dose of 30 kg. N/ha
Irrigation: Number of irrigation may be varied depending upon soil condition However In light soil Frequency of irrigation is more than heavy soil.
